Bishopdown Farm is a sought after residential area set on the north eastern fringes of the cathedral city of Salisbury and has easy access to local amenities such as a local convenience store, M&S/BP garage, doctor/dental surgeries with a pharmacy, veterinary practice, Greentrees Primary School, local family orientated pub. Close to the entrance to Bishopdown Farm there is a children’s nursery, the London Road Park and Ride terminus and the very popular Parkwood leisure/fitness/swimming pool facility. The city centre is approximately 3 miles away with its main line station serving Basingstoke, London Waterloo, the West Country and South Wales.
From Castle Street proceed out of Salisbury city centre about taking the A36 East until reaching St. Marks Roundabout. Take the second exit onto A30, London Road and at the roundabout take the first exit onto St Thomas Way, turn left onto St Clements way and the property will be found on the left hand side set back from the road behind the garage.
I loved the quiet and private location as well as its close proximity to Salisbury. The south-facing garden was great for entertaining friends in the summer.
